The stay was primarily to explore nearby attractions like the Inca salt pans of Maras, which was a highlight. Our stay was marked by several disappointments. The facility had a cold atmosphere, particularly because we were the only guests during our visit, and I found it frustrating that no restaurants or cafes were nearby. Most concerning was the lack of staff presence. I had difficulty getting help when I needed to leave early for a train to Machu Picchu, as no one was available at reception to open the gate.

The staff were super friendly and helped us feel right at home. The pool area was awesome, perfect for the kids. We grabbed some snacks at the bar, which were surprisingly tasty. The only thing was the Wi-Fi could've been better—kind of spotty at times. Just a little annoying, but not a deal-breaker!
